Carissa Explains It All! – Who Are Your Influencers?

November 21st, 2014

Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by, I have a GREAT way to promote your business this month! Have you heard of the term “influencer?”

“Influencers” are merely people in your community who can say a good word about your business and what you have to offer and –inspire others to visit your shop.

As the popularity of “customer reviews” continues to grow, it’s important to stay ahead of the game. Ask someone whose opinion carries some weight to promote your business. Perhaps you know a politician, local celebrity, or a popular blogger in your area? Invite them over to your shop to meet you, the staff, and maybe offer them a complimentary service.  Once they know how AWESOME you are, they won’t be able to help but tell the world!

Marketing idea #763 brought to you by Repair Shop Websites – the company that cares. If you have questions about how to get customer reviews, contact us at 855-349-5289.

Recent Google Changes Make Mobile Sites More Visible Than Ever

November 21st, 2014

As an auto shop owner, a mobile-friendly site has always been important – 30% of all internet searching  is done on phones and tablets, and that’s also what stranded motorists will use to search for a shop.  Google’s recent “mobile-friendly” labels make a mobile site even more important.

The new change allows mobile phone users to see whether a site is designed for a phone before they click on it – and phone users are unlikely to visit sites that don’t display correctly.  Shops with mobile-friendly sites will get more clicks and more calls, while those without a mobile site will likely be ignored by phone users.

This will benefit all of our Pro+Mobile and Pro+Connect customers – we’ve already designed a mobile site for your shop, helping you stand out from the competition.  If you’re unsure of whether you have a mobile site or you’d like to learn more about mobile sites, call us today at 855-349-5289.

Get Your Repair Shop Ready for the Holidays!

November 3rd, 2014

Is your automotive repair shop making any mistakes this holiday season? If you plan on having success through the holidays you need to avoid the following:

  • Same Advertising Message – you need to create a message that is steered toward traveling and the winter weather.
  • Not Updating Your Website Soon Enough – your website needs to be updated to reflect the upcoming season. Change the call-to-action buttons, add new pictures and update your promotions.
  • Old Promotions/ Specials – the warm weather is over, so you need to create specials that go with the winter and holiday season.
  • Not Updating Vehicle Tips – your customers don’t need tips for the warm weather. Create content for car care during the winter.
  • No Good Will – show your customers what charities you support and ask them to donate!

The competition might be ahead of you, so take a step back and think about what you need to change. If you avoid the mistakes above your business should have a successful holiday season. If you need to update your website please contact Repair Shop Websites at 866-665-1605.
